Namaste Everyone
I really hope this finds you all well and having enjoyed all the glorious weather of recent weeks. It has turned a little today and I still haven’t got on top of the garden but it will come. I am desperately trying to change the garden, and I have a design, but just need someone to come and give me a quote for the landscaping bit. If you know of anyone reliable please let me have their details!
I wanted to get in touch as there are a few date changes to what I sent out in January. There may be more through the summer but we will see. I am trying to take advantage of any opportunities that come my way, especially if yoga related. Which is why there is another week away in September. I am off to Italy to a retreat being organised by one of my favourite teachers. There is space currently and one of my friends is coming with me and needs a room mate…if you are interested in more details let me know. Dates are 21st to 27th Sept and we will be in Tuscany.
During the early part of this year much of our pranayama practice were new to most of you. We were using the breath in different ways to bring energy into different areas of the body. I have now put all this together and it can be found in the Pranayama section of my website. Not added anything new for a long time so I hope it is helpful.
Back in March we had the annual Spring Retreat, over three days, and it was wonderful. So relaxing and I really can’t believe the difference the extra night made. Getting a date for next year has been a struggle, but it is in the diary for May 13th to 16th 2027 – do save the date. But before then, and by popular request, I have a end of Summer Retreat this September 4th to 6th. There are some places available so if you would like to join me please do get in touch. I really need deposits by 1st of May. It is such a special place and we have the dream team in the kitchen catering for all our needs.
As many of you are aware I have now stopped doing the Tuesday evening zoom class. This allows me a bit more time to myself but also the opportunity to attend a class myself…which I have really missed being able to do on a regular basis. I love sharing yoga with you and will never “retire” as I feel it is a lifelong journey. Taking yoga off the mat and into everyday life is the real challenge…I remind myself of this every time I get grumpy about things happening on the world stage. Everything is in its place but sometimes that is hard to be at peace with.
