I really hope this finds you all well and having enjoyed some fabulous warm weather over the last few weeks. We have needed this rain and I love how the garden responds so quickly to it. Everything looks so fresh and my broad beans have been delicious. Missed most of the peas as they went over. And the runner beans have had loads of flowers but not set well…dashing about has not been helpful to my watering regime! I hastily add that I used all the water in my two water butts and was using all the kitchen water where I could. And my dahlias have been flowering since June…going to have a dull autumn garden this year I feel. I really want to revamp/redesign the garden but that will have to wait until I have the brain space to sort it out.
